‘Euphoria’ Star, Angus Cloud, Dies At 25
Angus Cloud, the standout star from the HBO hit show ‘Euphoria’, has died at age 25, his representatives confirmed.
Cloud, best known for playing the drug dealer “Fezco” on “Euphoria” for two seasons, died Monday a week after burying his father.
Cloud’s mother made a 911 call at 11:30am local time and reported a “possible overdose.” She also noted that Angus did not have a pulse. After the arrival of the Oakland Police Department and Fire Department, the actor was pronounced dead on the scene.
Cloud’s family revealed in a statement to TMZ that the actor died in his family home at Oakland, California after battling the grief of losing his father.
Angus’ father was buried last week in Ireland and sources close to the family say the actor had battled with suicidal thoughts since then.
The statement read, “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
“Last week, he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.
“We hope the world remembers him for his humour, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”
Cloud gained a lot of fame after featuring in the popular HBO series, Euphoria from 2019 to 2022. He played the role of Fezco, a drug dealer and friend to the main character, Rue, played by Zendaya.
